Privacy Policy
Effective July 1, 2026
NorvisPawTracker (“Norvis,” “we,” “us”) provides software that dog walking and pet care businesses use to manage their operations. This policy explains how we handle personal information. When a pet care business (“Business”) uses Norvis to manage its clients and staff, that Business is the controller of its data and Norvis acts as a processor on its behalf.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone number, and password for owners, managers, walkers, and client-portal users.
- Client and pet records entered by a Business: contact details, service addresses, gate/entry codes, emergency contacts, and pet health information such as vaccinations, medications, allergies, and veterinarian details.
- Operational data: walks, schedules, routes, invoices, payments, leads, messages, notes, and uploaded photos or documents.
- Location data: GPS coordinates recorded during live walk tracking when a walker enables it on their device.
- Technical data: log data, device and browser information, and cookies used to keep you signed in.
How we use information
- Provide, operate, and secure the service.
- Enable scheduling, messaging, invoicing, live tracking, and client-portal features.
- Send transactional communications such as booking confirmations, reminders, and account notices.
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
How information is shared
- Within a Business: data is visible to that Business's authorized owners, managers, and (where relevant to their assignments) walkers and client-portal users. Access is enforced by row-level security so one Business cannot see another's data.
- Service providers: infrastructure, database, and messaging vendors (for example, our hosting and database provider and any SMS provider) that process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Data security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, database-level access controls (row-level security) that isolate each Business's data, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period unless a longer retention is required for legal, tax, or security reasons.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Client-portal users should contact the Business they work with, since that Business controls their records. For other requests, contact us at hello@norvispawtracker.com.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate sessions and keep you signed in. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
Children
The service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
